Earth Teimani

A semi-antique, hand-knotted Teimani rug in a warm, earthy palette, with glowing orange that calls to mind autumn leaves and harvest light. Made with naturally dyed wool, its colors carry the depth and subtle variation that only plant and mineral dyes achieve. The field holds a dense, repeating lattice of medallion-like motifs, each outlined in orange against a deep earthen ground and punctuated by small accents of rust, indigo, and ivory. Layered guard borders frame the field in a serrated, geometric rhythm, and the piece is finished at both ends with a flatwoven border, a narrow band of tapestry-like weaving in tones that annouce the rug's content, adding texture and a handcrafted finish.
